Shops
- Doosan IMGB has an extensive NC - controlled set of machinery to be
able to machine the work pieces as close as possible to the final shape
and dimension:
- 6 milling and boring machines of 221 mm diameter of the spindle (out of which 4 are with 5 axis simultaneously controlled),
- 1 gantry - type milling machine, with fixed table and traversing, able to machine up to 4,000 mm high and 6,000 mm width, also 5 axis controlled,
- 12,000 mm diameter vertical lathe NC controlled,
- Four 6,000 mm diameter vertical lathe also NC controlled,
- Three special turning lathes to be able to machine pieces with max. diameter up to 3,700 mm and lengths up to 22,000 mm
Above machines are as many reasons to win our customer’s confidence in Doosan IMGB machining capabilities.
A work piece can be rough machined as well as completely finish - machined with exact tolerances according to drawing specifications.
Thanks to our own tool-making department, special machining can be carried out at short notice.
